Entrance Permits and Civic Addressing

New Home Construction

New home construction requires an Civic and Entrance Application to be completed before a building permit will be issued. You can apply for these permits at the Township Office in the Public Works Department.

Replacement Sign/Post

Replacement civic number signs and posts are available for purchase from the Township Office. Please fill out a Civic and Entrance Application to receive a replacement sign/post.

Restricted Half Load Notice

Restricted loads are usually in effect from March 1st to mid-May. Please check the local newspapers, the township web site or call 613-259-2398 to confirm schedule.

Municipal Consent to Move or Install Utilities and Working in the Right-of-Way

Municipal consent is official permission from the Township for a utility company to complete work within the municipal right-of-way (ROW).

Before starting any work on a road or right-of-way, you must apply for municipal consent. This ensures the work is safe, coordinated and follows Township standards.
